1 Ring-billed Gull (Rossi coming to bread, looking very smart), 1 Caspian Gull (looked to be the same 1st winter, in pool at end of concrete groyne, then in flight where it really stood out), 6 Common Seal (hauled out) [Martin Cracknell]

Rossi's Ice Cream, Westcliff, 11:35 to 12:45, sunny, slight breeze
1 Ring-billed Gull (Rossi looking stunning and showing down to 3 feet from my head!!), 1 Caspian Gull (1st winter persumed yesterdays bird as had similar bill shape/colouration and shawl round nape highlighting paleness of head. Bird was around from at least 1155-1230 from 50-100m distance.) [Vince Kinsler]
